Dr. Cheryl Willsie
Dr Cheryl Willsie (she/her) is a Psychiatrist based in Sarnia, Ontario where she lives with her husband Kyle and Rhodesian Ridgeback Ragnar. She graduated from Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario where she completed her residency training. Cheryl takes an integrative, trauma-informed and depathologizing approach to supporting individuals with their mental health. She emphasizes the importance of connection, self-discovery and lifestyle medicine in restoring wellness and healing trauma.
Cheryl is a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. She completed the Foundations of Psychedelic Psychotherapy course through the Michener Institute as well as the IFS and Ketamine Assisted Therapy course with The Ketamine Training Center and IFS founder Dr Richard Schwartz. Cheryl identifies as neurodivergent and appreciates the importance of supporting individuals in bringing awareness to their own unique sensory needs.
