Therapeutic and Educational Groups

Fostering learning and healing in community.

We are wired for connection, we heal in community. All of our groups are facilitated by our team of psychotherapists, social workers and clinical counsellors who work to create a shared space where you can feel witnessed, supported and heard by a community of people with shared experiences, hopes, concerns and struggles.

Euphoria: Support for trans and non-binary youth.

Euphoria is a 10 week program for trans and non-binary youth (ages 14-18). We offer participants the opportunity to experience the difference a supportive community can make. Along the way we foster opportunities to learn new skills for emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness and create opportunities to share stories of loss, grief and isolation in a safe space. Our next group will be launching September 25, 2024, register your interest below to be informed as soon as we open up registration.

This group is offered free of charge as it is supported by generous donations from the community. For information on how to donate, follow the link below.

Common Ground: Parallel therapy for parents, caregivers and children.

It’s not easy raising a child. You’re faced with the challenge of supporting them to become confident and independent while also protecting them from harm and disappointment. We’re here to help you find common ground.

Common ground is a unique parallel group therapy program for caregivers and children focused on building secure relationships, skillfully navigating conflict and effectively responding to distressing emotions.

In the children’s group, kids 8-11 years old will explore self-understanding, self-compassion, and self-advocacy. In the adult group, parents/caregivers will learn core concepts that can re-frame parenting struggles and practice ways to access the calm, confidence, and compassion kids need in conflict. Each group will be led by an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed psychotherapist. Both groups will be learning complementary material and some shared activities will bring both groups together to integrate their learning.
