Support Euphoria
Euphoria is community supported mental health care. The past few years have been especially tough on youth who are feeling more isolated than ever before. Trans youth face unique challenges with their mental health and we’re here to help. We want to offer this service free of charge, but we can’t do it alone. Will you consider partnering with us to make this support available to trans youth in our community?
Euphoria
A 10-week mental health group for trans and non-binary teens.
We know the past few years have been tough but you’re not alone. We’re here to listen to what you’re going through, help you build new skills, and help you experience the difference the support of your community can make. Join us as we explore each of our own personal paths to wellbeing, together.
-
Trans, Non-Binary and Gender Expansive Youth Ages 13-17
-
There is no cost to participate. The group is being sponsored by donations from a community of people who care about you.
-
While we might touch on gender, we really want to focus on helping you improve your relationships and cope with the anxieties you are facing. Together we’ll explore skills to improve mental health, build lasting and meaningful relationships and overcome adversity.
-
Given the focus on relationships and building a sense of connection this group will take place in person at a centrally located space in London, ON.
-
The group will be facilitated by Victor Feunekes (they/he) and Vogue Lalonde (she/her), two psychotherapists with expertise in supporting youth in the trans community. The group will also be supported by a practicum student from Fanshawe College.
-
If you would like to join with a friend, please have them complete the registration form. Let us know if you’ll be coming together so that we can make sure everyone feels included.
-
In order to foster safety and connection this group will be “closed” after we get started. If you missed the opportunity this time, please contact us to be added to the waitlist for next time.
-
We can help you figure that out. When you register, one of our facilitators will reach out to schedule a time to meet with you to to answer any questions you may have and to help you decide whether its the right fit.
-
Definitely! Groups can be a great space for healing, but they aren’t right for everyone. You are welcome to meet with one of our individual counsellors instead or in addition to the group. If cost is a barrier, we have some low cost options for individual counselling as well. Contact us to find your fit.
