We’re currently recruiting a child and youth psychotherapist for our North London office.

Who we're looking for:

  • Post-graduate training in one or more of the following experiential models of therapy IFS, EFT, Sandtray/Play Therapy/Theraplay or Expressive Arts Therapy.

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming/cultural awareness.

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism/Tourettes) affirming and knowledgeable (willing to train).

  • Interest in work with children, youth and their families.

  • Willingness to build up to at least 10 hours of service per week (full time opportunities are available).

  • Passionate about systemic change and anti-oppressive practice.

  • Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth as part of a team.

  • Interest in engaging in professional collaboration and peer support as part of a community of practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or a related discipline.

  • Registration with a professional college in Ontario that permits engaging in the controlled act of psychotherapy (ie. Registered Social Worker, Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Nurse, Registered Occupational Therapist...etc.).

Other Assets:

  • Able to provide counselling in a second language.

  • At least 1 year of experience providing psychotherapy to children and youth.

  • Experience providing counselling in an educational context.

  • Training and experience in clinical supervision.

  • Expertise in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, self-harm, chronic suicidal ideation or another area that is complementary to the current scope of our team.

  • Qualified and interested in providing clinical supervision to MSW or MACP interns.
