It can be a lot to balance all of the new relationships your making with all of the old relationships you also want to maintain. We can help you navigate your friendships and romantic relationships in a way that honours your values and needs. We also offer counselling to couples and families. As a 2LGBTQ+ affirming practice we are particularly passionate about supporting queer and trans couples.

Finding the right major, succeeding and setting yourself up for a meaningful career is becoming more and more challenging. The struggle is real. It may feel like your family doesn’t really understand just how difficult it is. We’re here to help you consider your options, explore different strategies and define your personal version of success.

ADHD and Autism can make school even more challenging. We offer both psychotherapy and executive function coaching for autistic and ADHD students. We also have therapists who have a lived experience of ADHD and/or autism, because sometimes you just need to talk to someone whose been there.
We also offer low cost ADHD assessments and medical care.

Loss can come in many forms. Whether you’re grieving a breakup, the loss of a loved one or pet, or the loss of an opportunity - your grief is valid.
Experiencing grief while in school can be really disruptive. It’s hard to take enough time to grieve and also hard to perform academically while you’re grieving. Our grief counsellors are here to support you in living with loss.

Discovering your gender identity and sexual orientation is uniquely personal process. A process we’re honoured to support if you need someone to talk to along the way. As you discover and explore your identity we’ll support you in moving towards the most authentic expression of yourself. Always respecting your timing and own sense of safety along the way. Many of our counsellors are members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, let us know if you’d prefer a counsellor with a shared identity or experience.

The experience of returning to school as a mature student is full of unique challenges. Trying to relate to peers, balancing family and school demands, and managing the financial stress of leaving the workforce is daunting. You may wonder at times if its worth it.
We think it is, because you’re worth it. We can help you reconnect with your initial motivation, remember the learning strategies you haven’t used in awhile, and rebalance your life so you can view your options with greater clarity. If you do decide it’s no longer the right for you, we can help you explore what comes next.

Probably. You need to check with your specific plan. Our counsellors are all registered social workers, registered psychotherapists, or licensed nurse practitioners. If you have coverage for one or more of these types of providers let us know and we’ll make sure to match you with that type of provider.
Most student plans provide a set amount that will cover part (but not all) of your treatment with a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist.

Sure. If it’s a form we’re able to complete, we’d be happy to help out. Often we can help students get accommodation at school, but most financial/government forms need to be completed by a physician.
We’re happy to help with the documentation required to apply for gender affirming care.
We know its hard to reach out for help. We’re so glad you’re here.
