ADHD Coach and Learning Strategist
Neuro-diversity is a beautiful thing and ADHD can be an absolute super power. However, we exist in a world that has been set up for the neuro-typical. I seek to provide ADHD coaching that is based on a compassionate approach designed to reduce ADHD shame and develop strategies that can assist you to accomplish your goals and live a life you love.
I have a degree in Critical Disability Studies, a Masters of Education and a post-grad certificate as a learning disability and ADHD specialist with a focus on specific learning strategies. I also have combined type ADHD and a teenage daughter with the same diagnosis. I have worked in the post-secondary system as a professor and for the last eight years as an accessibility counsellor. I am well versed in post-secondary accessibility supports and funding available for students with ADHD and can assist you in navigating this system. I offer a variety of strategies and techniques for folks that struggle with executive functioning. These include strategies for time management, organization, prioritizing, understanding procrastination, chunking and managing emotional regulation as it relates to ADHD.
