Michele Moyer
(she/her) BEd, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Psychotherapist and ADHD Coach
Within counselling, I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space in which we can collaboratively explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I use a person-centered approach which is tailored to address your unique circumstances and concerns. My focus is on assisting you in developing the insight and strategies you need to move towards a healthy life and meaningful future. I draw from Cognitive-Behavioural and Mindfulness-Based therapies to help you gain clarity about your challenges, identify resources and solutions, and develop skills for coping.
I am a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. I also hold a Bachelor of Education from Western University. I have prior experience counselling older adults and post-secondary students experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and chronic pain/illness. As a former educator, I also have extensive experience and training in supporting youth and their families as they navigate life with ADHD, Autism and other (dis)abilities.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you make transitions in your life. Whether you’re starting something new; making a change; grieving a loss; or coping with an unexpected turn, I’m here to support you in the process.
