Registered Social Worker and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I’m happy you’re here. You’ve taken a big step in reaching out for support. I’m here to provide a warm space where you can heal and be yourself.
I primarily use emotion-focused therapy with individuals and with folks in relationships, including couples, to build a strong therapeutic alliance and assist in processing core emotions. I believe distress can be rooted in the nature of early relationships and experiences, so I am eager to explore your current and past narratives to understand your mental health challenges.
I also offer substance use counselling related to exploring change, harm reduction, abstinence, and relapse prevention strategies. We can also discover the connection between your substance use and emotions or mental health challenges. I am passionate about working with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and thoroughly enjoy working with youth and young adults. I provide strengths-based and trauma-informed perspectives to the challenges you’re experiencing.
I offer both in-person and virtual counselling appointments. I look forward to meeting with you!
