Holly Kaupa
(she/her) MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist
Welcome! I specialize in supporting individuals ages 12 and up with ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence. I also have extensive experience working with people with visible and invisible disabilities, including severe and persistent mental illness. My approach focuses on helping you develop practical strategies that foster personal growth, cultivate effective coping skills, and empower you to live in alignment with your values.
Whether you’re struggling with unhelpful habits—such as substance use, excessive screen time, or overspending—or navigating interpersonal challenges related to neurodivergence, I'm here to work with you in a compassionate, collaborative environment. My goal is to help you move beyond current barriers and create lasting change that enhance your well-being.
As a Registered Social Worker with a background in both teaching and counselling, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I use your individual learning style to guide our sessions, drawing on an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches. These include Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. Together, we'll build a space that offers both structure and flexibility, with the focus on creating tangible, achievable goals.
My approach integrates elements of coaching to keep you focused and motivated as you move toward the life you want to live. I am a proud member of disabled and neurodivergent communities as well. When I say my counselling space is non-judgmental, I mean it as someone with lived experience prepared to meet and serve yours. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions in London, and invite folks to engage in the ways that are most comfortable for them–camera off or camera on, in PJs or formal wear, doodling, or utilizing one of several fidget toys I have available.
Your unique brain and body are not things to hide from. The world needs people who think, feel, love and do, just like you do. If you're ready to take the next step in achieving your goals and building healthier coping mechanisms, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s work together to find what works for you.
